Job Title: IP/Patent Litigation Assistant
Location: Redwood Shores, CA
Salary: $70-95K, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities
- E-filing documents in N. District of CA and state courts
- Drafting, editing and formatting correspondence, briefs, pleadings, TOA’s, TOC’s and other legal documents.
- Reviewing court websites for Local Court Rules.
- Calendaring and maintaining files.
- Scheduling depositions.
- Entering check requests, expense reports and attorneys' timesheets.
- Assisting with catering requests and travel arrangements as needed for trials.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of litigation assistant experience, preferably at least 1 year working as an IP litigation assistant
- Knowledge of e-filing in the N. District of California and state courts
- Strong experience and expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to work independently while managing changing priorities and projects
- Experience drafting legal documents, including TOAs and TOCs, and must also have extensive experience with calendaring
- Excellent attention to detail, organization and planning, confidentiality, and problem solving abilities
