Description
The Mississippi Job Corps Center by Adams and Associates, Inc., is hiring an HR Coordinator. Job Corps is a federal vocational training program that serves young adults ages 16-to-24 years old. As an HR Coordinator, you will support with recruiting for open positions, manage the administrative functions including personnel file maintenance and HRIS updates, support employees with benefit enrollment, and conduct employee training.
Recruitment Duties

• Prepare and post all vacancies with internal and external sources, and evaluate candidate job-fit by screening applicants to evaluate work history, education and training, job sills, compensation needs, and other qualification.
• Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using internet recruiting databases, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, employee referrals, and job fairs.
• Schedule interview with hiring managers.
• Conduct reference and background checks for final applicants.
• Maintain records of applications and resumes, and update the applicant flow log.

Training Coordination

• Assist department heads in developing staff training and orientation programs.
• Develop and executes training programs as directed.
• Research and identify training materials, programs, instruction and presenters.
• Coordinate and arrange training facilities and activities.
• Facilitate new hire orientation program

Administrative Duties

• Maintain updated personnel, benefit, and medical files.
• Process new hire paperwork, establish and maintain employee files.
• Support employees with benefit enrollment and change requests.
• Update HRIS
• Complete weekly and monthly reports

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of two years human resources management experience required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications required.
