Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Assit with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the organization
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to provide guidance to management
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- NO or Limited Experience with payroll systems such as UltiPro, Paychex, ADP, or SAP needed
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in talent acquisition and talent management strategies is preferred
- Familiarity with affirmative action planning and organization design is a plus
Job Notes:
-In person at the office, no remote work
-Flexible hours between 7am and 5pm
