Accounting Specialist ($22-$26/Hr.)

Accountant: $22-$26Tualatin-based company that prides itself in being the experts in their industry while creating the best environments for its clients. Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist, this is to cover a leave of absence. This position combines accounts payable/receivable, generating commission reports, and supporting in various areas including administrative and HR when needed. Our client is a small company, so everyone steps in and supports in all areas if and when needed!#westtual This is a contract position!Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable: prompt invoice processing and recording of payments.
• Accounts Payable: review and audit invoices and ensure all invoices are submitted promptly.
• Review and prepare the aging report, call, and notify clients of past due balances.
• Collaborate with the company Bookkeeper about financials and assist with all reporting in QuickBooks as needed.
• Calculate and prepare commission statements.
• Manage incoming cash from the field, counting and tracking of cash.
• Assist with payroll processing and timesheet submission.
• Work with a team to schedule employee appreciation activities and coordinate company meetings.
• Track and manage office supplies inventory and ordering.
• Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.Qualities, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Two to three years of experience with accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, must be highly proficient with Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily duties and meet all deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude who is a team player and flexible.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
    Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
    Pay: $22-$26/hr. DOEBenefits:These are offered during the contract period.
