Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely organization of staff according to project requirements.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Implement and administer employee policies.
- Provide guidance on training and development programs.
- Administer benefits and compensation plans.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure safety regulations are complied with and advocate for a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and or 5+ years proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive in the industrial contracting sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team within the HR department, fostering an environment of collaboration, development, and HIGH performance.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, ADP preferred, not required.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Familiarity with industrial safety, workforce planning, and employment regulations specific to the construction or industrial sectors.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
