SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce company, is looking for a Leave & Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources Team! This position is responsible for the administrative activities related to employee leave of absences and its related benefits programs including FMLA, disability, workers compensation, and family leave, as well as company leave policies such as parental leave, personal LOA, and medical LOA.This position will also assist in the administrative activities related to our group benefit plans including health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, pet insurance, andour employee assistance program.
This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities.
The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Salary: $50,000-60,000/year
Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
EST. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time Policy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to address any inquiries or issues related to leave of absence and ensure a positive employee experience
- Act as a subject matter expert for leave programs and benefits, and respond to inquiries from employees and managers in a confidential and timely manner
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers, employees, HR, and payroll throughout the leave management process
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, STD, LTD, and other applicable legal, state, and federal regulations
- Assist in administrative activities related to our group benefit plans including health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and COBRA
- Research, develop, and implement new benefit programs to ensure a competitive benefit offering amongst our competition
- Assist with benefit communications and training programs
- Apply continuous improvement philosophy to processes to improve administration, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies
- Organize and maintain HR files, documents, and other administrative duties as needed
- Assist in executing department projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources benefits position
- 1+ years of experience managing employee leaves and leave programs, as well as developing, maintaining, and managing relationships with external vendors and accounts
