AquaTerra Outdoors, is an industry leading, international award-winning, premier boutique landscape architectural design + build firm in Carrollton, Texas. We are seeking an experienced Office/HR Manager for a Temp Position to cover our current Office/HR Manager during her Maternity Leave (May to End of July.; Start on April 8 to train for a few weeks). The ideal candidate will be passionate, ambitious, accountable, team oriented, strong ethics, unquestionable values, responsive and humble. This position requires a 3 1/2 month commitment. A bonus will be given if candidate successfully completes job requirements through last day of Temp position.
Job description:
- Strong customer service orientation
- Bookkeeping experience required
- Computer proficiency (QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite a MUST)
- Clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail, follow up and organizational skills
- Sense of urgency, adaptability, and flexibility
- HR knowledge – Onboarding, Offboarding paperwork
- Payroll – processing thru QB Desktop Assist. (weekly and bi – monthly)
Office Management:
- Handles all administrative tasks including screening calls, managing calendars, planning meetings, and organizing office for workflow efficiency.
- Keep office clean and organized (receive, open and put away UPS/FedEx deliveries; keep kitchen and bathroom supplies stocked)
- Monitor and maintain office supplies; order supplies and keep within budget
