The Novelis Corporate team is seeking a Data Analytics Intern! The person in this role will report to the HRIS Lead & Director - IT Business Relationship Manager. The Data Analytics Intern will work on Data Analysis, Data Engineering and data visualization for HR data. This position will add value in terms of streamlining data analysis and data lake enhancements for the HRIS.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis on the HR Data systems to provide insights on the various HRIS metrics.
- Work on data validation on the data lake to ensure data quality.
- Develop the analytical reports and dashboards on data lake using Power BI.
- Assist in creating data models and data engineering pipelines for HRIS systems.
- Assist in researching and creating use cases for Advanced Analytics in HRIS space.
- Create documentation on the HR data lake systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a higher education program in Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Systems, or similar program related to data analysis.
- SQL experience and basics of Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A rising junior or senior in a Bachelors program or Masters program, majoring in Computer Science or Engineering.

Physical presence is required at the job location in Atlanta, GA to train and perform in a collaborative, learning environment. Housing and relocation support will be provided for interns/co-ops if the school they attend, or their permanent home is beyond a commutable distance.
