HR Global Mobility Specialist

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Human Resources Department, based in our Bridgewater, NJ office.

As an integral part of our HR department, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement the company's leadership development programs, including international transfers. This position will work closely with senior leadership to identify and develop future high-potential leaders, and to ensure that they have the skills and experience they need to succeed in their roles. This position will also be responsible for managing the logistics of international transfers, including visa sponsorship, relocation assistance, and cultural acclimation from abroad to the US and from US abroad.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and HR business partners to identify and assess training and leadership development needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver innovative and engaging learning solutions, such as workshops, coaching, mentoring, online courses, assessments, and feedback tools
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training, leadership development and mobility programs, using data and feedback to continuously improve and align with business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as vendors, consultants, coaches, trainers, and Global Mobility service providers
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in learning management systems and employee development and mobility, and share insights and recommendations with the HR team and the executive team
  • Work closely with our parent company in Japan to manage the end-to-end process of international transfers, including relocation, immigration, tax, compensation and benefits, cultural integration, and repatriation
  • HR point of contact for international employees (from/to Japan and other subsidiaries)
  • Hosting international employees and families and providing assistance to find community resources and/or peer groups to ensure a smooth transition to the US. Assists expats with coordination of housing, leased cars, social security and driver's license registration, etc. Monitors employee morale and company culture
  • Assists with international communications and Japanese/English translation as needed
  • Local travel 10-15% and occasional international travel
