Job Title: Head of Immigration and Global Mobility - North America

Position Summary:
As the Head of Immigration and Global Mobility - North America, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our immigration processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Immigration law, demonstrate expertise in the end-to-end immigration process, and have a deep understanding of business immigration, including the H1 process, F1 to H1 transitions, and related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Immigration Strategy and Compliance:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive immigration strategy aligned with business objectives.
o Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and updates.
End-to-End Immigration Process:
o Oversee the entire immigration process, from initial consultation to successful resolution.
o Manage H1 processes, F1 to H1 transitions, and other business immigration matters.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Partner with internal stakeholders, including HR, legal, and business leaders, to address immigration-related needs.
o Communicate effectively with employees, providing guidance on immigration processes and requirements.
Policy Development:
o Contribute to the development and enhancement of Immigration policies and procedures.
o Ensure that policies align with legal requirements and business needs.
Vendor Management:
o Collaborate with external immigration service providers and legal counsel.
o Manage relationships with immigration vendors to ensure effective and efficient processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or legal background preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Immigration law and regulations in North America.
• 12+ years of experience in Immigration and Global Mobility roles, with a focus on business immigration.
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end immigration process, including H1 processes and F1 to H1 transitions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Location:
This position is based at our New Jersey office. Limited travel may be required.
