We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Representative who will play a vital role in implementing new HR policies at our recently acquired site. Role And Responsibilities
- Leading day-to-day payroll administration, including weekly payroll processing, and acting as initial degree of contract for inquiries and issues related to payroll.
- Main point of contact for operations team, including Director of Operations.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and provide assistance.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Prepare, review, interpret and analyze a variety of data, information and reports and make recommendations on findings.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transition during operational changes
- Responsible for entering employee data and ensuring accuracy within the HRIS System
- Delivers training related to Human Resources programs.
- Supports HR group by contributing to ongoing process improvements in the HR department.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
- 3+ years HR experience supporting a business with a large number of hourly personnel
- Strong of employment laws and other government compliance regulations
- Experience with Workday and ADP Preferred
- Strong background using MS Office Suite - Excel and PowerPoint a must
Education /Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management or other related degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work: exerting up to 15 - 20 pounds occasionally.
- Daily walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for sustained periods of time.
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, expansive reading, etc.
