The HR Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring data integrity for associate data across the associate life cycle. The Data Specialist will also have responsibility for benefit reporting and related transactions.
KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
- Processes employee changes and terminations submitted in ADP and other org changes ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially. This includes promotions / demotions / lateral / transfers, temp associate hires, pay increases, schedules, placing associates on leave, returning associates from leave, and others.
- Complete weekly data audits to ensure accurate data entry for new hires based on standard rules
- Maintain I-9 documentation by processing terminations in HireRight as needed
- Ensure timely and complete responses to unemployment filings
- Assist with weekly benefit reporting including Short Term Disability and Paid Parental Leave
- Assist with benefit data entry cases, including court orders, manual enrollment, and others as needed
- Analyze service requests to proactively identify what is needed prior to completing transactions in
- terms of impact to systems and clients
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and developing solutions
- Enter accurate data updates in the HR system and provide information in the form of reports, evidence, documentation and data to control functions such as Litigation, Employment, Legal, and Compliance
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Education and some experience in HR required
- General knowledge of employee benefits from education or certification
