This position is a 2nd shift: Tuesday through Saturday (Monday and Sunday off)
The hours for this position are: 3:00 pm - 12:00 am (with the ability to cover 4 hours on a 3rd shift 1 day per week)
The Plant Human Resources Business Partner will provide leadership and functional HR Generalist support in the San Bernardino, CA production facility. The role will support 500+ hourly and salaried associates throughout the employee life cycle including and not limited to: onboarding, coaching, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and talent management. This role will serve as a strong partner with the broader HR team, leading and supporting HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience at the plant location. Candidates for this role should have a passion for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to standardize and create efficiency through the work performed.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to Plant Leadership Team, leading and executing HR initiatives that support the business objectives of the broader Home Chef organization
- Establish and promote an inclusive work environment, aligned with the Home Chef culture, that enhances employee experience and increases retention
- Guide leaders and employees regarding Home Chef policies, HR Programs administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees, enabling and empowering them to reach their full potential
- Leverage HR reporting and metrics; analyze data, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to address business challenges for the corporate employee population
- Identify and drive continuous improvement within HR programs and processes that allow the People team to scale and evolve with a high growth organization
- Display business maturity and strong emotional intelligence to coach, develop, influence and counsel mid-level managers and employees.
- Partner with managers to assess and provide HR tools that drive talent retention, employee development and organizational design efficiency
- Develop and execute strategies to improve Organizational Health
- Protects interest of employees and the company in accordance with company policies, governmental laws and regulations
- 5 years experience in the Human Resources field, with at least 2 years as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Ability to speak effectively to groups of employees
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong work ethic and initiative
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, strong problem-solving skills, good judgment
- Demonstrate success in designing, leading, and achieving projects and workgroup initiatives
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, ATS, HRIS, etc)
Salary - $90,000 - $100,000
