JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Business Partner develops strategic relationships by understanding the business, challenges, opportunities and needs of the internal customers at Levindale Hospital, a 330-bed hospital and post-acute facility specialized in acute care, rehab, subacute, long-term care, behavioral health, and more. The HRBP enhances and maintains those relationships by coaching and advising employees and managers on HR related topics. The HRBP is the primary point of contact for HR related matters and partners with other HR functional areas to support the needs of the customer.
This position is onsite in the HR office at Levindale Hospital. **Ideal candidates should have experience with employee relations and union environments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:- 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably in labor/employee relations. Healthcare experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management or Organizational Development preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience.
- PHR/SPHR preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Skilled at coaching, consulting, conflict management and building collaborative relationships at all organizational levels. Strong facilitation and decision-making skills, including ability to negotiate and influence. Must be comfortable challenging the status quo, asking tough questions and politically savvy. Must be an innovative problem solver with project management and organizational skills. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations.
