JOB SUMMARY
This fast-paced position is responsible for supporting Beaver Valley with all Human Resources and Billing Specialist needs. This would include processing internal HR documents, recruiting, verifications of employment, unemployment inquires, client billing, payroll support and administrative processes. This position provides management interface with management, security officers, supervisors, and other administrative personnel in order to ensure operational processes are implemented as required by Beaver Valley processes and Site-Specific Procedures.
This position is ideal for extremely organized individuals with sound decision making and judgement.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Provides Human Resources and Billing Specialist needs. Serves as payroll support as needed.

  • Reconcile all payroll entries, invoices and payroll data to time sheets and adjust as necessary.
  • Respond to client billing questions and reconcile discrepancies and prepare corrected invoices.
  • Review client billings and ensure proper billing amounts.
  • Review all accounts payable to ensure timely payment and invoicing.
  • Verify amounts and contacts vendors for identified discrepancies.
  • Contact clients in cases of past due accounts and set-up payment plans as needed.
  • Assist Project Manager and/or designees with any administrative needs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Maintain composure when dealing with executives, staff, and clients.
  • Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Perform a variety of office administrative functions, such as maintaining office and confidential files, answering phones and email, working in various computer systems and databases.
  • Operate a variety of software application programs, including word processing and/or spreadsheet programs and prepares a variety of documents (such as correspondence, memoranda, reports, papers, charts, statistical tables, messages and other documents) requiring accuracy in spelling and grammar.
  • Operate a variety of office automation equipment, including copy machines, facsimile machines, networked computers, laser printers, shredders, scanners, and other electronic equipment.
  • Assist Security Staff with scheduling, processing, and maintaining qualifications for workforce.
  • Schedule annual, return to work, and new hire physicals and review for compliance.
  • Assist with any personnel investigations and hiring evolutions.
  • Lead point of contact for employee benefits and open enrollment.
  • Site backup for payroll processing.
  • Complete quarterly and annual profit true-up reports and invoice accordingly.
  • Generate annual employee incentive bonus spreadsheet and request employee bonuses.
  • Petty Cash custodian.
  • Purchase necessary items for training and operations as required.
  • Complete monthly worked/non-worked hours report for client.
  • Participate in company promotion boards as directed.
  • Responsible for the administration of continuing education committees and the development of all employees.
  • Performs a variety of administrative support functions as assigned, including correspondence, data entry, completion of forms, and filing.
  • Updates and maintains confidential personnel files to document personnel actions, examines files to answer inquiries; provide information to authorized personnel.
  • Assists with the recruitment, screening, and paperwork preparation for new hires.
  • Complete all projects and meet all deadlines.
  • Work with employees at all levels to provide needed services and requests.
  • Understanding of Human Resources processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with staff and the public.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets various internal and external documents and reports.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
  • Thorough understanding of standard office procedures and practices.
  • Use of personal computer and standard office productivity software.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
  • Courteous telephone manner.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
    Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending upon the nature of the position.
    Education/Experience
    • Associates degree and/or 2 years of equivalent education, experience, or any combination thereo f to perform essential functions of this position. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the required education as determined by the company.
    • Meet and maintain nuclear security screening requirements for unescorted nuclear site access.
    • Competent and knowledgeable of the security requirements.
    Background Prerequisites
    Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.
