On behalf of our client, Eriez Manufacturing Co., Decision Associates is seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department. Established in 1942, Eriez is a global leader in separation technologies, a market force in several key technology areas, including magnetic separation, flotation, metal detection and material handling equipment. Headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, USA, Eriez provides trusted technical solutions to the mining, food, recycling, packaging and other processing industries.

The Senior HR Manager is a high impact role leading the Human Resources function of a dynamic industrial equipment manufacturer during a period of growth and transformation. The successful candidate will be a true strategic partner who is equally comfortable interfacing with employees on the manufacturing floor and participating in meetings with Eriez executive leadership. The Senior HR Manager's focus will be on designing and delivering initiatives that support the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complement, support and further the company’s goals through performance aligned with the Eriez company values.
  • Provide guidance and input for strategic and workforce planning through a Human Resources lens.
  • Create and implement employee programs to drive retention, engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Coach and advise internal clients to advance talent management initiatives and ensure cultural consistency.
  • Manage HR Operations activities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead learning and development strategy to ensure a workforce with the capabilities, skills and competencies needed to meet business and succession objectives.
  • Implement and manage workforce systems that drive desired performance behavior and employee development.
  • Maintain a Total Rewards strategy to attract and retain talent and incent exceptional performance inside a motivated work environment.
  • Assist in ensuring jobs are accurately paid to market through credible benchmarking, analysis, and market monitoring.
  • Champion change and leverage change management tools to support business plans.
  • Manage and monitor trends and needs through analytics and metrics aligned with business objectives.
  • Participate in local and One Eriez HR special projects, including comprehensive compensation studies, building job grade structures, and engagement initiatives based upon indictors from defined KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business management or a related discipline required. SHRM, HRCI, or related professional credentials are a bonus.
  • 8+ years' progressive experience in HR management with demonstrated expertise in at least one key strategic HR discipline: Total Rewards, Training & Development. Workforce & Organizational Planning, Data Analytics, Lean Management (Systems Efficiency & Process Improvement).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; analysis and modeling expertise. Experience using a an HRIS/ERP solution; familiarity with market pricing tools (ERI, Marketpay, Payfactors, etc.;) strong data orientation, demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Broad knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws and compliance best practices, including the administration of effective employee policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, succession, talent development, and compensation and benefits.
