The Human Resources Assistant will be exposed to all facets of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have skill in interviewing techniques and a broad knowledge of specialized hospitality functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and referring quality applicants for hospitality and food and beverage related positions
- Utilize sourcing and candidate development methodologies, processes, and practices committed to outstanding client service and delivery
- Work closely with hiring managers to assess needs and to establish a recruiting strategy
- Generate and screen candidates, utilizing a broad and expanding variety of sourcing techniques
- Coordinate interviews and communications with applicants
- Update and maintain applicant tracking system
- Execute effective internal employee recruitment strategies
- Assist in maintaining department records and reports
- Participate in other HR related duties and functions
Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field required
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
- At least 1-3 years related experience
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the golf, hospitality, and retail industries is a plus
