I. POSITION SUMMARY AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SUMMARY
The individual will lead the Continuous Improvement efforts at multiple sites within IKG. They will work closely with Plant Management and site resources to ensure that the organization is continuing to enhance our value proposition to our customer base.

- PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve organizational performance in a metrics driven organization.
- Implement, sustain, and expand the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) of the company.
- Promote a customer-centric environment that diligently strives to realize organizational goals.
- Apply various world-class manufacturing techniques to eliminate waste throughout the organization. Train team members on these techniques.
- Lead improvement exercises to include short, stand-up problem-solving actions and longer-term Kaizen events.
- Utilize the Theory of Constraints to identify bottlenecks and eliminate them.
- Identify and implement programs to reduce working capital throughout the organization.
- Recommend and justify capital expenditures.
- Advance the company’s safety culture.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, inclusiveness, and respect.
- Basic Qualifications
- Education
- Requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement role in a manufacturing organization.
- Minimum of 7 years experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Other Requirements
- Certification in Lean and / or Six Sigma
