Job Description
Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
· Open and close the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper including assignment of room boards, keys, and any other opening and closing requirements.
· Take all incoming Housekeeping calls and respond the guest’s needs.
· Perform inventories of supplies and order for par levels
· Log all missing items and maintain catalog of lost and found and ship or mail out claimed items to the guests.
· Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
· Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
· Ability to accurately use various office software.
· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
· Clean rooms and Inspect rooms.
Requirements:These are required of every associate.
· Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
· Hearing, writing, typing.
