Job Summary:
Reporting to the Facilities Asst. Superintendent, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for working on the main campus and will administer, direct, and coordinate all housekeeping activities. Including maintenance and grounds functions in inclement weather, in addition to performing other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
- At least three or more years of directly related experience and/or training.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required skills and abilities
- Ability to clean, perform floor care, use cleaning equipment, and follow policies and procedures
- Ability to work outside and in inclement weather
- Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with and supervise many employees
- Demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions when necessary
- Demonstrated ability to assess and resolve housekeeping related issues while adhering to university/departmental policy and procedures
