The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. This is afull-time position and reports to the Office Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean cabins, restrooms, and other areas
- Inspect cabins and other facilities to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Maintain SDS and inventory for all chemicals
- Complete required reports on a timely basis
- Schedule staff, monitor payroll and maintain compliance with labor budget
- Collaborate with park and home office departments
- Cross train to assist other departments as needed
- Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
- Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
- Utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
- Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
- Housekeeping experience required
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, and management preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Regularly move throughout the park
- Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
- Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
