Housekeeping Supervisor/Laundry

### Job Overview:

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. You will supervise our other Housekeepers to ensure the rooms cleanliness and keep things in order. You will also be in charge of Laundry. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

### Duties:

- Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

- Ensure all rooms are well-maintained and presentable

- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens

- Restock supplies and notify management of any shortages

- Follow established safety guidelines and procedures

- Assist with inventory control and ordering of cleaning supplies

- Train and supervise housekeeping staff as needed

- Make the schedule for all housekeeping staff, including yourself

- Make sure everything is in order

- Double check all rooms to ensure everything is clean and ready for the guests

### Requirements:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred

- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues

- Basic knowledge of laundry operations and equipment

- Leadership skills to supervise housekeeping staff

- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed

- Flexibility to work holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
