SalaryNiagara Hospice is looking for a Per Diem Housekeeper to join our dedicated team of caregivers at Hospice House.
Hours: Every Friday, every other weekend & as needed - 11am-7pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleans patient rooms and bathrooms.
- Cleans communal areas, office areas and bathrooms throughout the hospice house.
- Cleans and maintains the staff lounge and staff locker rooms.
- Receives, collects and washes/dries patient laundry and general laundry.
- Ensures that the linen room, cleaning equipment carts, and floor is kept neat and orderly. Assists in maintaining the laundry facilities, equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local privacy laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Qualifications:
- Ability to comprehend housekeeping operations.
- Six (6) months of housekeeping experience required; One (1) year experience in housekeeping aide in a healthcare facility preferred.

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
