Housekeeping Manager

Duties
We are seeking a highly motivated and EXPERIENCED HOTEL Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will be essential in managing a team of housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure they meet our cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to address any guest requests or issues
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available
- Oversee laundry operations, including the laundering of linens and towels
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services in a professional manner

-Cover shifts if and when a housekeeper calls outs or is otherwise unavailable. Meaning clean rooms as you would expect your staff to do.

Understand the need in slower months to work a housekeeping board themselves to offset the Housekeeping Budget and cut cost.

Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of custodial practices and commercial cleaning techniques
- Experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality industry
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, guests, and other departments
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
