Job Summary- The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning of dormitory units and the company commercial space during the week. They will collaborate with Operational Leadership on strategies for success and implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and cleanliness. The Housekeeper will ensure adherence to state and agency standards while meeting performance and quality metrics. The Housekeeper will perform a combination of cleaning duties including changing bed linens, using laundry appliances, cleaning rooms, and keeping records on consumables. You may be responsible for confidential and sensitive material and must be able to familiarize yourself with the industry's practices, concepts, and procedures. Must be able to pass a background check.
- Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Observe precautions required to protect guest and employee property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets.
- Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive.
- Remove debris from driveways and walkways.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
- Dust furniture and equipment including window blinds.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Requirements
-Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly

- Working quickly without compromising quality
