Housekeeper/Laundry

You can make a difference in the life of an older adult. Community Housing Management Corp is the property management company for Covenant Place, which has 3 independent senior living properties, located in mid-St. Louis County. We are seeking a housekeeper to assist residents to live in a safe, sanitary environment.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Housekeeping/Laundry

· Clean resident apartments as specified on list of Housekeeper duties

· Wash, dry, & fold residents’ laundry

· Special projects (i.e. clean stove/oven, clean out refrigerator)

· Change bed linens

· Special Projects as requested by your supervisor. These may include, but are not limited to, assisting with cleaning common areas, i.e. lobbies, stairwells, etc., assisting in the dining room. They may also include assisting the maintenance department with projects

· Observe and report any physical or behavioral changes in residents to your supervisor

· Clean resident apartments as part of the make-ready process for a new resident move-in

· Inventory and requisition for cleaning supplies

· Work cooperatively and productively with co-workers

· Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents, their families, co-workers, and the public

· Follow Fair Housing Guidelines as instructed

Qualifications:

· 1 year housekeeping experience

· Experience working with older adults (a plus)

· Ability to work with diverse cultures, including non-English speakers (with translation support)

· Self-starter

· Must be able to lift 5 lbs., ambulate across a large property, sit, stand, and bend

Position reports to Property Manager

Monday-Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
