We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry person to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry attendent, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and clothing
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Experience in floor care, housekeeping management, or hospitality is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner
- Knowledge of custodial practices in hotel or industrial cleaning settings is a plus
