Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-time Housekeeper (7:00am to 3:30pm) to support our Environmental Services Department. The Housekeeper is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures and/or specific instructions from the Environmental Services Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the residential units and common areas to ascertain a safe environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure that the attainment of Ginger Cove Mission Statement takes precedence over all decisions and actions.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the apartments, such as, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
- Perform general housekeeping duties of hall ways, lobbies, and core areas.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Participate in all drills and in-service meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of housekeeping/ environmental services experience is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
- Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and tact in dealing with others.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
