**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Person to join our team at Lit Property Group - LITpg.com . The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and possess excellent sales skills to drive revenue growth for our hotel by booking Weddings, Corporate Events, Brand Activations, Business Meetings, OnSite & OffSite Catering Events, etc... As our Sales Person, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and maximizing sales potential in the hospitality market for our portfolio of properties. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates that have worked in the Greater Palm Springs market and who already have contacts in the area are strongly preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Generate Sales Leads:** Proactively identify and pursue sales leads through various channels including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
2. **Build Client Relationships:** Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders to increase repeat business and referrals.
3. **Conduct Sales Presentations:** Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients showcasing the hotel's amenities, services, and value proposition.
4. **Negotiate Contracts:** Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with clients to secure bookings and maximize revenue potential.
5. **Stay Informed:** Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
6. **Collaborate with Team:** Work closely with the hotel management team, including the marketing and operations departments, to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing structures.
7. **Meet Sales Targets:** Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
8. **Provide Excellent Customer Service:** Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients before, during, and after their stay to foster loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
9. **Maintain Records:** Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections using CRM software or other designated tools.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in Hotel Sales, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to persuade and influence key decision-makers.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of the hotel effectively.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
6. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, and weekends as needed.
9. Knowledge of local market trends and business dynamics is a plus.
