Waupun Dairy Supervisor

This position is responsible to the operations, fiscal management and maintenance of the Waupun Dairy. This position is responsible for producing quality dairy products for DOC institutions and establishing needed expenditures.

This position is responsible for the direction of staff and persons in our care, maintaining sanitation, testing dairy products, processing of raw milk, other dairy product and maintaining inventory and records.

This position ensures productivity is kept at an optimal level while creating a profitable production facility and maintaining excellent quality assurance standards at all times. This position will also ensure employee accountability, manage production costs and oversee shop health and safety.

Normal schedule will be Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. No Holidays or Weekends

Minimally qualified applicants will have:

• Experience producing pasteurized milk and ice cream products
• Experience in production scheduling
• Experience inspecting and maintaining dairy equipment
• Experience as a lead worker or directing other employees on daily tasks

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and meet State of Wisconsin fleet requirements. Employees will be required to maintain a valid driver's license and eligibility to drive a fleet vehicle.

Within 1 Year of Hire:

• Must possess and maintain Pasteurization Certification.
• Must possess and maintain Drug Residue Certifications.
• Must possess and maintain Weigh Hauler and Samplers License.

Within 2 Years or Hire:

• Must possess and maintain Class B CDL license including Air Brakes and Tanker Endorsements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $37.30 per hour
