Hotel Part- Time Front Desk Agent

Part-Time evening or Morning shift as needed.

(Must Have Hotel, and Opera Experience).

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. ```Duties```
Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards Club members and also returning guests. In addition, you are expected to:

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations
• Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
• Take payment from customers while accurately processing all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures
• Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
• Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
• Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs
• Assist customers with the planning of special events such as weddings and business conferences by directing their inquiries to the sales department.
• Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned including room tours, special guest requests, etc.

```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
- Excellent hospitality management skills with a focus on guest services
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to build positive guest relations and provide personalized service
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
