Hotel Housekeeper

Reports to:Head Housekeeper

Hotel Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel including: guest rooms, hallways, and all public areas of the hotel. The following reflects the essential job duties but does not restrict tasks that may be assigned.

Duties include:

• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests
• -Clean, dust, vacuum common areas and rooms
• -Change bed linens, clean bathrooms Including toilets, showers and tubs
• -Clean walls and mirrors.
• -Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
• -Use supplies efficiently
• -Stock cart properly with room supplies
• -Report all safety, maintenance and housekeeping concerns to Head Housekeeper
• -Attend and participate in all mandatory meetings
• -Flexible with schedule and assignments
• -Maintain effective performance under pressure
• -Frequent standing, walking about the property
• -Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling
• -Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance and in excess of 40 lbs. with assistance
• -Follow proper procedures for lost and found items
• -Follow guest requests, i.e. do not disturb signs, change of linen.
• -Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces

• -Attention to detail
• -Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• -Ability to multi task
• -Displays good initiative
• -Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.85 per hour
