Hotel Housekeeper

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and providing a comfortable environment for our guests. This is a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our hotel.

Duties:

- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and countertops

- Change bed linens and make beds in guest rooms

- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms

- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly

- Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common areas

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items

- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of guest rooms and common areas

- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team

- Good communication skills to interact with guests and fellow team members in a professional manner

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
