Host/Hostess/Server

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our patrons. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival

- Escort guests to their designated tables and provide menus
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service
- Provide information about the restaurant's offerings, promotions, and special events
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or requests promptly and professionally
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and hospitality standards

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
