Job Description
PURPOSE -Incumbent is responsible for administering Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) processes that include Safety and Health, Environment, Business Continuity, Facility Security, Asset Conservation, Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pandemic Planning at a factory location in Kraft Heinz. The primary purpose of this position is to achieve compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and Kraft Heinz policies/procedures and processes.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES -
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES -
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
•Associate degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent preferred or 3-4 years' experience in safety and environmental management at a manufacturing facility.
•Knowledge of OSHA, EPA Regulations, DOT Regulations and Management Systems (i.e., ISO 14001, Safety Management Systems)
•Continuous Improvement Principles and Practices
•Professional designations such as OSHA 30-Hour, OSHA 40-Hour Hazwoper, or Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) preferred.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
•Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment desired
•Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment.
•Good interpersonal, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
•Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
•Willingness to grow with the organization and commit to "doing what it takes" to attain aggressive organizational objectives.
•Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment, problem solving and decision- making skills.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES -
- Implement the Kraft Heinz Safety Playbook and Kraft Heinz Safety Rules
- Conduct Assessments for all Safety Rules utilizing the KEF Form Tool.
- Drive ORM strategies that align with corporate objectives to reduce/mitigate operational risk.
- Administers new and current processes and tools to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local ORM regulations and assists the factory with these requirements.
- Coordinates and assists with the implementation of continuous improvement principles into EHS elements.
- Ensure that the site adheres to applicable Kraft Heinz policies/procedures, processes, and operating principles.
- Attend Daily Production Meetings and Labor Management Committee Meetings
- Utilize Intelex Online Incident Reporting Software to input incident and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of applicable EHS legislation and practices that impact the factory.
- Update Kraft Heinz Corporate EHS Score Card on a Monthly Basis
- Input sustainability data into SharePoint.
- Update and post monthly Safety report
- Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary.
- Utilize SAP to write work orders for safety related deficiencies.
- Attend Monthly Safety Suggestion Review Meetings
- Implement Kraft Heinz EHS Management Systems and Best Practices as designed.
