- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, thank them for choosing our pizzeria, and provide a positive first impression.
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction.
- Communicate estimated wait times and seating options to guests accurately and professionally.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus, ensuring they are seated in a clean and comfortable environment.
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide assistance as needed, such as retrieving highchairs, accommodating special requests, or answering questions about the menu.
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and other team members to ensure smooth seating transitions and efficient table turnover assisting team as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Host/Hostess stand and waiting area, including sanitizing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and organizing menus.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Accurately retrieve, prepare and provide guests with their orders for pick up
- Assist with various tasks as needed to support the front-of-house team and ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Night and weekend shifts will be required for this position with the availability to work until close.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our guests.
Restaurant Hours:
- The restaurant hours are 11am - 2am Monday through Saturday and 11am - 12am on Sunday.
Pay:
- Earn up to $25 per hour ($14 per hour + tips).
