We are currently seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a hostess.
**Job Description:**
As a hostess at the Lambertville House, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests feel valued and welcomed from the moment they arrive. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
- Managing the seating chart and coordinating table assignments to optimize seating efficiency.
- Communicating with servers and management to ensure smooth transitions between seating and service.
- Providing accurate wait time estimates and managing reservations effectively.
- Answering phones, taking reservations, and providing helpful information to guests.
- Assisting with guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the hostess stand and in the waiting area.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in [Insert Location].
