Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing reservations, and handling cash transactions. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Process cash transactions and handle cash responsibly
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with TOAST POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions
- Ability to work well in a team and provide exceptional guest service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
