Essential Job Functions:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina.
- Proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 40 lbs without restriction.
- Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Must be reliable and conscientious, possess the ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers, and supervisory staff.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and/or conflict situations is a must.
- Adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, state food safety handler regulations and all related training material.
- Greets guest at entrance to restaurant in a positive manner.
- Obtains basic information from guest such as name, number in party, and seating preferences.
- Ushers guests to seat location at a pace that is comfortable to the guests.
- Enters guest checks in the computer system applies monies received and makes accurate change.
- Communicates customer requests to assigned Verifies room charges, processes credit card payments, batches "tip" slips for server gratuities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledgeable of restaurant seating plan including sections, table numbers, and seat
- Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Assistant Manager on
- Collect various forms of payment to process
- Enters guests’ checks in computer system, applies monies and makes accurate change and processes credit card
- Process to go orders over the phone/walk-ins.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all
- Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in high volume food service, as well as in cashiering/money handling. Table service restaurant experience preferred.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational
- Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
