Job Description:
- Actively asset-manage a small portfolio of restaurant, entertainment and hotels by regularly interacting with both internal management and 3rd party management teams.
- Develop sales and revenue management strategies, drive improved performance, and maximize asset value.
- Audit inventory of food, beverage, supplies and services rendered.
- Audit of financial statements and billing.
- Review, benchmark and analyze portfolios financial data and keep informed of the dynamics of each market area to develop a strong understanding of their respective markets.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end summary reports for senior management.
- Review, understand and ensure compliance of management and 3rd party agreements.
- Identify, analyze and implement opportunities for increased revenues and expense savings.
- Review operating budgets, capital budgets and marketing plans.
- Travel to the properties as needed to inspect the facilities, meet with management and tour the market areas and competition.
- Build relationships with the various hospitality teams, management companies, and partners.
- Effectively interact with in-house departments to ensure a consistent understanding of the performance and any potential issues.
- Keep informed of industry trends and how such trends may impact the Company’s portfolios.
- Actively communicate with in-house departments, including but not limited to Operations, Accounting, Construction and Human Resources.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, as well as comprehensive knowledge of entertainment, restaurant and hotel operations.
- Detailed auditing experience.
- Team player, organized, and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and ability to multi-task.
- 7 to 10 years of Senior Management, and finance of entertainment, restaurant or hotel related experience.
- Experience with major brands.
- College Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
