Job Description
The Sr. Digital Merchandiser maximizes company sales growth and profitability by maintaining digital portfolio of global e-commerce properties. This position is responsible for creating best-in-class customer experience. This role includes digital and web marketing project management, web content development and management, and digital marketing analytic management responsibilities with the expectation of aligning product strategies and customer journey. The Sr. Digital Merchandiser acts as a brand ambassador ensuring digital merchandising strategies align with global product campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
•Create alignment between product strategy and customer journey
•Develop data-driven site merchandising that maximizes customer engagement and sales
•Increase conversation rate
•Use analytical tools to optimize product placement
•Make recommendations on website optimization
•Create product hierarchy
•Increase product searchability
•Execute price changes on website
•Ensure product’s digital display is accurate
•Ensure that standards for quality assurance are established and achieved in all projects.
•Stay up to date on e-commerce trends to remain competitive in emerging digital opportunities.
•Verify purchase journey is correctly merchandised
•Work closely with inventory management team
•Work across departments to ensure product launch timelines and align digital content with ongoing marketing campaigns
Requirements:
•This position must be accurate and meticulous regarding product details
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Shopify and HubSpot proficiency
•Basic knowledge of HTML and related concepts are a plus
•Team player with the ability to collaborate across various business functions
Require Education and Experience:
•5+ years’ experience in digital merchandising
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field preferred
•Google Analytics proficiency and strong analytical skills
•Buying and / or site merchandising experience in audio or 12Volt industry is a plusAdobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Aspera, Cloud Technologies, Content Management System (CMS), Brand Awareness, Computer Hardware, Design, Digital, Digital Asset, Shopify, Website Optimization
