Hospital Housekeeping

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our housekeeping team as an Overnight Hospital Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility, contributing to the comfort and well-being of everyone we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and all surfaces, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Perform regular cleaning of common areas such as hallways, waiting rooms, lobbies, and staff areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment.
• Dispose of trash and biomedical waste in accordance with hospital regulations and safety guidelines.
• Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to prioritize cleaning tasks and address specific needs or concerns.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning services, especially in emergency situations or areas requiring immediate attention.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cleaning equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Document cleaning activities accurately, including areas cleaned, products used, and any incidents or concerns encountered.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
