Hospice Volunteer

• Help with everyday tasks, adding ease and warmth to our patients’ days.
• Opportunities for administrative tasks

• Examples of activities with hospice patients: conversation, light housekeeping, baking, nail painting, board/card games, scrapbooking, crafts and artwork, prayer, shopping/errands, delivering flowers, reading books, sewing, singing, etc. We encourage you to utilize your special traits and talents!
• Examples of duties within the office: write cards, make tie blankets, assemble goody bags.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing assigned tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of individuals

Schedule:

• The time expectations of a volunteer are flexible to your schedule! Whether it's weekly, monthly, or sporatic visits we appreciate any contributions you can make.

Please note that this is an unpaid volunteer position. We value your time and commitment, and will provide necessary training and support throughout your volunteer journey.
