At three oaks hospice we are currently on the look for dedicated volunteers who would like to give and hour or 2 of their time PER WEEK to assist with the MANY things that we need help with. A few of those things are
-Direct patient care
-inventory count (1x per month)
-Making Admission packets
-Assisting with coordinating events
-Activities in Nursing Facilities with our patients
and the list goes on and on...

You might also ask, why dont you hire someone to do these things then?
Well for 2 reasons;

1. Hospice companies rely on volunteers to provide companionship, emotional support, and practical assistance to patients and their families. Volunteers play a cruical role in improving the life for those in hospice care by offering comfort, compassion, and a helping hand. Its a way for people to give back and make a meaningful impact during a difficult time.
2. The state requires ALL hospices to meet a certain volunteer % every month.

If you'd like to give as little as 1 hour per week of your time to sit with patients/their families, assist with events, make phone calls, do inventory, etc. please apply!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $0.01 per year

Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
