We are currently seeking a Regional Operations Specialist (RN) in Southern California OR Texas who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This person will be covering all Hospice CA and TX sites.
*Must have active CA and TX RN licenses at the time of hire and will be expected to travel 50-75% of the time, overnight travel included.*
Position Pay: $130,000 - $140,000 per year DOE

The non-negotiables:
- Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in both California and Texas, in addition to any other additional states Silverado may operate in. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired.
- Must have three years of experience within the last five years in a Hospice and/or Palliative Care agency, at least two years of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity. A successful track record indicating a working knowledge of regulations relating to managing a Hospice line.
- Knowledge and experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Wellsky (Consolo) preferred.
- Ability to organize, delegate, supervise, evaluate staff and make effective decisions.
- Understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the hospice interdisciplinary team.
- Possesses a sympathetic attitude toward caring for the hospice patient and demonstrates positive communication skills in interacting with other members of the hospice team.
- Possesses ability to think critically and problem solve.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for providing direct support for Hospice Site Operations in either an Administrator, DPCS, PCM or QAPI capacity. You may be asked to fulfill any vacancies we have open in these positions at any given time.
- Responsible for monitoring the overall Clinical and Operational oversight of all Hospice and Palliative Care Programs, and collaborating with staff to address a variety of issues.
- This person will be required to travel across California and Texas 50-75% of the time.
- This person will provide clinical expertise and oversight of Silverado’s 8 Hospice and Palliative Care sites throughout Texas and California.
- Staying up to date on changing Hospice and Palliative Care guidelines to ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with clinical and operational standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to address any identified compliance issues.
- Responsible for new and ongoing training and development of staff.
- Implement and oversee QAPI initiatives and to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining quality care.
- Identify cost-saving measures without compromising patient care standards.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure continuity of care during crises.
- Uphold and promote Silverado’s ethical standards in patient care, ensuring that the hospice program operates with integrity and in alignment with its mission and values.
