The Horticulture Technology program seeks a Horticulture Instructor to begin in Fall 2024. The Horticulture Technology program prepares students for landscape design and construction positions, greenhouse operations, horticultural sales, nursery plant production, and landscape supervision. Candidate will teach classes in the Horticulture Technology building, greenhouse, and gardens.
Under the department head's supervision, the faculty member's primary responsibilities are to teach in-person classes and participate in student development, academic advising, and student recruitment. Support the College by working on committees and/or performing public service for the College, reviewing, and updating courses, designing new courses as needed, preparing syllabi, participating in the development/revision of instructional materials, maintaining office hours and promoting the horticulture program.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and related horticultural experience.
