Job Purpose
The Assistant Zone Manager Business Operations is responsible for Honda Zone 1 launch and sustainment strategies of Honda Brand BEV vehicles & key initiatives. Support dealer engagement as a Large Project Lead (LPL) with evolving business enterprises such as the launch of Prologue, Honda Digital Services (HDS), HondaLink, Dreamshop, MyGarage, etc. Supporting dealers and field team with detailed communications, ad hoc analysis, and targeted dealer performance reports.
Key Accountabilities
- Successful launch and sustainment of Prologue and future BEV models
- LPL for dealer engagement with evolving business initiatives (HDS, HondaLink, Dreamshop, MyGarage, etc.)
- Work with identified business improvement opportunity dealers
- Support Zone 1 Sales / Market Share / Profit Growth & Business Initiatives
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics or relevant degree preferred
- Equivalent job experience and proven leadership capabilities and skills
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with PC based tools and applications
- 5+ years of at least 1 - 2 of the following: Honda/Acura Zone Sales (DSM or AZM), Sales Training, Business Development, Market Representation, Rotational Assistant Manager experience or equivalent.
- 7-15 years of experience in sales related environment
- Documented leadership experience or relevant training in people development
- Experience in negotiation to resolve business conflicts
