Home Care Assistance is hiring for a Home Assistant to work in our Lawrence, KS home. This is a great opportunity to work in a private home setting and be part of a friendly team.

Schedule:

Duties:

• Helping to prepare and serve meals according to our recipes and provided menu
• Personal care for a person who uses a wheelchair
• Cleaning, organizing and maintaining the home
• Managing the home's general maintenance needs such as watering, dusting etc.
• Helping with household emergencies when they arise
• Performing other related duties as assigned by management

Skills:

• Proven experience as a home care assistant, housekeeper or cleaner preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if needed
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
