Job Title: Home Health Aide

Duties:

- Assisting clients with shopping and errands - must have own car
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
-Medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with tube feeding and catheter care as needed
- Provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Skills:
- Proficient in using medical systems and equipment
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures and protocols
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Experience in meal preparation according to dietary restrictions or preferences
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong attention to cleanliness and infection control practices
- Competency in providing catheter care when necessary
- Understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
