We are looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide personal care assistance to seniors in their homes in Marion and Morral. These hours would be Monday through Friday. One client needs 3 hours twice a week in Marion Tues and Friday about 1pm-4pm and the other needs 3 hours twice a week in Morral on Monday/Thursday after 11 or 12pm. Both male clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping. Other duties may include meal preparation, running errands, and providing companionship. Main need for this case will be helping with the shower and dressing, and light housekeeping. We are looking for a dependable and caring person, and can get you more hours as we get them.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as a caregiver
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Run errands as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor the client's health and well-being
- Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
